This year our first-year students are being offered a taster programme where they get to sample a range of subjects and then choose their favourite two subjects.
Subject choice includes:
Home Economics, Music, History, Materials Technology Metal, Art, Materials Technology Wood, Business, Technical Graphics
In keeping with the new Junior Cycle, all subjects now have a new subject specification and students are completing CBA's and Assessment Tasks.
Our classes are now an hour in length to give students and teachers the opportunity to engage in new teaching and learning methodologies.
All first-year students sample all of the following subjects and choose two of them at the end of first year. These two subjects become the student's options until the Junior Certificate Examination.
