Dear Guardians, Parents, and Students,
We are pleased to announce a Parent's Senior Cycle Subject/Programme Choice Consultation as part of our Croke Park calendar. This event is designed to aid you and your child in making informed decisions about their subject choices for 5th year or their preferred senior cycle programme (LCA/LCVP/TY).
For prospective 5th-year students, this consultation will connect you with subject teachers and provide guidance on each subject
The consultation for 5th-year subjects will be conducted via our remote PTM platform. Time slots will be available from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm, and each session will last 5 minutes. This format allows for focused discussions on potential subject choices and any questions about the subject you might have.
Please note that Joe Monaghan will be available to answer any inquiries regarding the TY/LCA Programme.
To facilitate a smooth event, we request that you book your preferred time slot in advance. Although participation is optional, we encourage you to use this opportunity to enhance your decision-making process.
Booking Your Appointment: The booking system is now live and will remain open until noon the day before your scheduled consultation. To book your appointment, please visit our dedicated platform at Clarin College Booking. You will need to provide your child's first name, surname, and date of birth. Bookings start today and close at noon on the day of your meeting.
Appointments are first-come, first-served, so we advise booking early. The booking window closes on Thursday, 09-05-24, at 12 PM. Refer to your child’s timetable on TYRO to select the correct teacher.
For any login issues, typically due to date of birth discrepancies, please contact the school office immediately at 091-844159 or email admin.clarincollege@gretb.ie. A comprehensive user guide is also available at Parent Guide.
This virtual format not only respects your privacy but also complies with GDPR, ensuring the protection of personal information. Our goal is to make these consultations as accessible and effective as possible, recognizing the logistical challenges of in-person meetings in a large school environment.
If you encounter any issues with booking or if you have internet access concerns, please contact the school office. We are committed to ensuring all necessary accessibility accommodations.
